This Weeks’ Panel at UC Irvine with Janice Griffith

13076603_565362540300460_7613447069439609450_n-2On Tuesday April 26th, I was invited by UC Irvine's NOW UCI student ran program to speak about the stigmatization and dehumanizations of people who work in the sex industry with Janice Griffith.

It's always so nice to be in touch with my community and be able to an example that anything can be accomplished disregarding race, gender, sexuality, or age. College students are the future leaders and it's very essential that they have an ample amount of knowledge for their journey to finding themselves to become future role models – whether it be sex, sex positivity, taboos, stigmas, and the knowledge that it entails. Hopefully change can happen for more uniformed sex and gender education.

Next week, I'll be a guest on the Sex with Emily podcast – stay tuned for when the live recording will be up on SexWithEmily.com

TBT: My Post-AVN Photo Shoot with Refinery29

image

Between hosting parties, making special guest PR appearances, and the shows themselves, the adult award season is always a stressful time for me. Thankfully, my stress was rewarded by being titled AVN’s Transsexual Performer of the Year for the second year in a row!

After the show, I met up with photographer Roger Kisby to take a photo for a piece in Refinery29 called “What Award-Winning Porn Stars do Offstage & Offscreen” and what better way to celebrate a win than with a cigarette? (You’re welcome those who have a smoking fetish 🙂

I am humbled by the love and support of my fans across the globe. Let’s cross our fingers for another win next year!

You can see how the rest of the girls celebrated their AVN win here.

Lecture at OCC with Buck Angel

FullSizeRenderLast week I was fortunate enough to be invited to speak to the Human Sexuality class at Orange County College  (thanks Hernando:) about Gender and Transgenderism.

I recently started doing educational public speaking recently, so I still get a bit nervous when speaking in front of a crowd, yet alone a classroom with peers around my age... Thankfully, I had the legendary Buck Angel to lead the conversation.

I talked about my transition and fighting dysphoria being AMAB (assigned male at birth), and how working in the adult industry has led me to feel solace in my mind, body, and soul as a TS.

This was a good test-drive for my talk at UC Irvine next week about sex work, sex positivity, and its role in combating rape culture. This time I am speaking to almost triple the amount of people and double amount the time! Wish me luck!

Aspen Brooks Smoking Fetish

The new update today features an industry new comer named Aspen Brooks. She is only 18 years old and eager to get started performing. In the studio today, she starts out with some cigarette smoking before stripping off her clothes and caressing her supple body. Aspen gets turned on and begins stroking her hard cock. She doesn't shy away from the camera and continues until she shoots her load on her tummy. Watch the whole video now Venus-Lux.com.

TBT: A Fun and Unique Interview with Fanny Hunter

Did you know that I am scared of spiders? Or that I love hairy men? What about my favorite TV series?

In an interview with Fanny Hunter, I talked about those topics and more. Below are some a few of my favorite questions and answers. You can read the rest of the interview here.

You accidentally eat some radioactive vegetables and they endow you with the superpower of your choice! What do you want to be able to do?

If I were to be endowed with a super power I would have choose either the ability to fly or the power of telekinesis. What human wouldn’t want to fly? To soar the skies and to break away from all reality would be amazing. As for telekinesis, moving objects with my mind would be fun. If I wanted to get something from the fridge without getting up would satisfy my inner fat lady.

You’re having a great day and you just found a £50 note/US$100 bill on the pavement, what are you gonna spend it on?

I believe things happen for a reason, especially when it comes to finding money. When I do find money, I take it as a sign to use it to make an experience. If I found 100 dollars, I don’t see myself as 100 dollars richer, but instead I have 100 dollars to make an experience to share this with someone – whether it be treat a friend to dinner, share the money with someone less fortunate, or donate this money to a charity. This is just what I would do.

Have you ever faked an orgasm in your personal sex life?

Girls, you can relate with me to this. You sometimes with get that day where you feel like you need to fake the orgasm just to please your bf, husband, friend, or whatever. Whether you had a long day or you aren’t as close to orgasming as your partner is and you just feel the need to satisfy your partner. I know I have. I’ve had long days from a photo shoot and sometimes come home to a sexually needy partner. After filming for hours on set, sometimes you are just drained (no pun intended). More than once, I have encountered a situation where my partner wasn’t able to sustain the momentum to my liking to be able to orgasm, so the best thing to do was to fake an orgasm so my partner can get off.

What’s in Venus’ Box?

1080x1080-2In Greek mythology, Pandora's Box contained all the evils in the world, and a little bit of hope. My mastery box will contain the same, but kinkier.

From April 19, 2016 to May 3, 2016, you can purchase Venus' Box: my personal compilation of evils and sins.

The evils of Venus' Box will include: an outfit or pair of shoes from one of my scenes, an autographed photo, and DVD all selected by random. The hope? Ten lucky fans will receive a special limited edition Venus Lux Lube (only 12 left in existence).

Good luck sinners 🙂

TBT: Trantastic Storytelling with Buck Angel

Last year, my good friend Buck Angel invited me to speak about my experience being trans at his event Trantastic Storytelling where I spoke about what it’s like growing up in a traditional Chinese family, my life before finding out I was trans, my first time cross-dressing, and more (video below).

Can't wait to be reunited with Buck tomorrow to speak on a panel about sex empowerment and destigmitization in the OC 🙂

Sign my petition: XRCO Awards 2016 Genre Inclusion

Originally posted on https://www.change.org/p/dirty-bob-xrco-awards-2016-genre-inclusion

*Disclaimer: This is not a rant or point of aggression. The message is about equality, inclusion, and mutual respect in response to the XRCO Award Show press release.*

Embodying unity in this forever growing community is what progresses us as a whole. Our role within this industry as performers is to provide entertainment, positivity, and education to break typecasts and stigmas in which we require effort from all facets of adult entertainment industry.

XRCO is one of the oldest award ceremonies–going on 32 years–in the adult industry yet it is one of the last award ceremonies to give recognition to transgender, gay, and BBW performers. These are just some examples of growing genres that could use more visibility and support.

Where is the quality? The inclusion? Award ceremonies are supposed to be a celebration, but when a community neglects to be progressive and acknowledge talent that amasses at least 1/4th of the adult industry revenue, it’s unethical.

To include these genres would mean:

1. More sponsorships
2. More attendees
3. More of an online following
4.  Boosting creditability as the oldest adult award ceremony

I created this Change.org petition because there is a lack of advocacy and visibility for genres that aren't included in the XRCO Award Show. I am calling upon fellow performers, producers, directors, and fans to help create evolution.

You can support the movement and sign the petition here: https://www.change.org/p/dirty-bob-xrco-awards-2016-genre-inclusion

Discussing polyamory for #SexTalkTuesday on Twitter today

After meeting a few friends who were polyamorous and have witnessed their successful relationships–all of which varied–my curiosity about polyamory grew. I had never been polyamorous, nor had I ever really thought about the idea, but it is very common when you are raised in a heteronormative and monogamous society.

Today, April 5th, 2016, I’ll be moderating the discussion about polyamory for Sex Talk Tuesday (hosted by sssh.com) live via Twitter at 12pm PT/3pm ET. You can join the conversation by tweeting @VenusLux and using the hashtag #SexTalkTuesday. Talk to you soon!
